Actress Anjali though debuted with Siva Nageswara Rao’s ‘Photo’ a few years ago, has turned the heads of millions with her ‘Journey’ has shot to fame all of a sudden with ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’.  

But eventually she was known for a wrong reason in media with strife between her and her aunt. The issue got settled and later everybody thought that everything was fine. She was also present in the recent Filmfare South event and wooed the cameras.  

And now she was absconding again. Sources say that she married a production manager and jumped to USA. Her mobile is also switched off leaving no clue about her whereabouts.  She has to give her dubbing for Telugu version of a Tamil movie title ‘Madha Gaja Raja’ but she is absconding.

Now only Anjali should come into picture and clear the clouds. 

Anjali’s story has taken a new turn. A while ago, her aunt Bharati Devi had filed a habeaus corpus petition in the Chennai High Court when Anjali went missing.

Yesterday, Bharati Devi withdrew the petition in Chennai. Just when one thought the case has concluded, Bharati Devi has filed a new petition in the family court today.

In her latest petition Bharati Devi has asked for Rs 50,000 as monthly maintenance charges from Anjali.

The court has accepted the petition and has postponed the next hearing to August 14.

Looks like the cases by Bharati Devi are a means to get Anjali to shell out her hard earned money.

Heroine Anjali has not changed her style despite warnings by courts. She once again abstained from appearing in the court as directed.

The heroine facing defamation charges was to have appeared before the court on Tuesday. She did not. Expressing anger at her, the court directed her to appear before July 9 and warned that the consequences would otherwise be serious.

It may be recalled that Tamil producer Kulanjiyam filed a defamation case against Anjali for charging that he and her aunt Bharati Devi were using her as an ATM. She has also to be present before the Madras high court in a habeas corpus petition filed by her aunt. Despite the courts expressing anger, Anjali continues to abstain.
