There was a time when Tollywood used to fear releasing films in Telangana but now they are fearing to release them in Seemandhra region.
The reason for that is the political agitation. The protestors are thinking by stopping the film their movement will get mileage.
In that aspect, focus has fallen on the release of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’.
Buzz is that the film will be stopped by the Seemandhra protestors. There was a time when Junior NTR was an integral part of TDP but now he has distanced himself.
But some are saying he will still be asked questions because he is the grandson of N T Rama Rao and his father Nandamuri Harikrishna has not opened his mouth after the splitting of state.
As someone who has got interest in politics, the Seemandhra folks say it is Jr NTR’s moral responsibility to take a stand on the issue.
As such, government is providing police protection for film releases and that’s how ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ came and scored a hit. But will it be the same for ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’?
