A strong rumour is doing rounds in the media circles in the state is
that union minister of state for tourism K Chiranjeevi could have played
a role in the Central Bureau of Investigation’s raids on the residence
and offices of former union minister Dasari Narayana Rao.
According to reports, Chiranjeevi has complained to the high command about Dasari’s outburst against his family members in various functions; and also Dasari’s plans to join the YSR Congress party.
“All these days, the Centre has been protecting Dasari, despite the fact that the CBI was extensively probing into the coal scam. But, following Chiranjeevi’s complaint, the high command has acted quickly,” sources form New Delhi said.
Dasari is also said to be suspecting the role of Chiranjeevi in the CBI raids.
“There is a conspiracy going on against me and I know who is doing all this. But I am confident I will come out of the troubles very soon,” he is learnt to have told his media friends.
