The legendary and the most popular actress of the 90s, Madhuri Dixit Nene, has lost her father, Shankar Dixit, this morning following prolonged illness. Just a day ahead of his sad demise, the doctors who had been treating the actress father, had informed the family of his deteriorating health.
A source from the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, wherein Madhuri is one of the judges, has been quoted as saying, "We were to shoot today also, but it has been called off keeping in mind Madhuri's loss. Half the portion of the finale episode has already been shot and Madhuri may not be there to shoot for the remaining half."
