Trivikram Insults Hindus In Attarintiki Daredi

Writer-director Trivikram Srinivas has a special place in T-town. He is known for his witty one-liners and brilliant screenplay.

But his recent offing Atharintiki Daredhi is a big shock and wonder to all Trivikram's fans. No doubt, AD is completely Pawan's film and that's how one identifies it.

But agree it or not, Trivikram's films have a set of audience and they just come to theatres to watch his films. Such is the mark or impact he has made. He has carved a niche for himself.

Perhaps, the director of Athadu, Jalsa has sidetracked for the first time in his filmy career and wrote completely deviating scenes which have no connection or reference to plot of the film. Especially, Gautham Maharshi-Ahalya- and Indra episode has been the talking point.

It is too much and derogatory! It not just shows women in poor light but also insults Hindu mythology. Ahalya is considered as a sacred and idealistic woman by Hindus.

And, directly using the names of Lord Indra, Gautham Maharshi, Ahalya in the film and etching poor-fun out of it is inexcusable. What is the message that Trivikram sending to youth who are die-hard fans of Pawan Kalyan? Isn't this sending wrong signals on our Gods and mythology?  This is not certainly expected from Trivikram.

Many opine that Trivikram should voluntarily apologize and should chop the scene even before some uproar arise.

Presently, the movie is running with packed theatres. Hope, filmmakers like Trivikram should think twice from next time on wards and not repeat such mistakes in future.
