Debutant Atlee’s directorial venture Raja Rani, which stars Arya, Nayanthara, Jai, Nazriya Nazeem in the leads alongside the comedy superstar Santhanam and Sathyaraj in an important role, has been a huge hit at the box office.
The film, which had been making a buzz before its release, was declared a box office hit and has made a collection of Rs 50 crores within 25 days of its release.
The movie is said to be the 3rd highest grosser of the year 2013 in Tamil, according to the trade buzz.
The movie has also been chosen to be screened at the 15th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival on 24th of October, at Cinemax Versova at around 8.30 pm.
The film produced by AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios, with GV Prakash Kumar’s music, has also received appreciation from the industry people and even the likes of Rajini, Kamal Hassan has shared words of praises about the film.
