Hrithik Roshan’s superhero flick Krrish 3, directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, with Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut as his female leads and Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist hit the silver screen on the festive weekend of Diwali.
The movie which opened up to mixed reviews is said to have collected over a net of Rs 72.8 Crores over the Diwali festive weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh on Monday tweeted, “Krrish3 collects Rs.72.8 cr nett in its opening weekend: Fri 25.5 cr, Sat 23 cr, Sun 24.3 cr. Inclusive of Hindi + Tamil + Telugu ( sic)." He further added that the movie is still running to full houses on Monday (a working day) in most theatres including single screen and multiplexes.
Now the latest buzz is that the film has collected nearly Rs 108.61 Crores, as of Monday collection. Taran today tweeted, "Krrish 3 hits a ton. Crosses Rs100 crore marks on Monday. Friday to Monday: Rs108.61 crore."
He further wrote, ""And highest single day record lies shattered," wrote Adarsh and added that Krrish 3 created history on Monday by collecting Rs35.91 crore at the box office. "The highest single day figure ever."

The film that required a lot of vishal effects, which is boasted of having been made by Indian VFX teams, that were is par with the Hollywood standards, has reportedly been made on a budget of over Rs.100 crore.
The industry estimates Krrish 3 will recover its money and predicts a collection of Rs 200 crore, as there is no major Hindi release next week.
