There are no two words when we say Mahesh Babu is the number one hero in Tollywood. After the blockbuster success of ‘Pokiri’, though there were disappointments like 'Sainikudu', 'Athithi', ‘Khaleja’( though did well in USA) he has been able to sustain his position. But now that seems to be coming in some threat.
It is heard that doubts are being expressed over Mahesh’s new film ‘1-Nenokkadine’. Directed by Sukumar, the film has already overcrossed its budget. Even the teasers are very dull and average. Moreover, Sukumar is more drama kind of filmmaker whereas Mahesh is more of a mass appealing star so this sync is also missing.
Anyhow, an excited talk is on Mahesh’s other film ‘Aagadu’ under the direction of Sreenu Vaitla. The duo has scored a blockbuster with their earlier venture ‘Dookudu’ so the expectations are double on ‘Aagadu’.
Sukumar is good at drama but not at comedy. But then it is heard that Mahesh is super confident on ‘Nenokkadine’ and has reportedly assured there are no doubts about the film. Only the film’s release will reveal the truth.
Well, a director who is known for certain thing so far can be made himself known for other things down the line. Let us wish Sukumar for Mahesh showing confidence on him.
