Nowadays filmmakers and stars are more bothered about reaching the prestigious INR 100 cr club or registering a big opening. Films have started to compete with each other not with box-office numbers. After 2013′s biggest hit Attarintiki Daaredhi, which struck gold at the box-office, all eyes are set on Mahesh Babu’s ’1Nenokkadine, which has released today worldwide.

While we have to wait a little long to find out if Mahesh’s film will reach the INR 100 cr club, but for now everybody is wondering if it can register the biggest opening on release day ever. Apparently, AD minted over INR 10.89 crore in AP on first day. Can ’1Nenokkadine’ register a bigger opening as it’s releasing in about 1400 screens in the state. The first day opening will decide the film’s fate in across the weekend, and therefore, it’s crucial for the film to rake in the moolah.

’1′ is also opening big overseas in maximum number of theatres. Can it also break the record of AD in foreign land where it minted approximately INR 2.7 cr on the first day.

Eros has already established a firm foothold in the Tamil film industry through its subsidiary Ayngaran and now directly through big movies like Maatraan, Kochadaiyaan, and Rana.

With ‘1 Nenokkadine’ it marks its grand entry in the Telugu market with none other than Tollywood’s biggest star Mahesh Babu. Film will release across 1400 screens in Andhra Pradesh and in 250 screens overseas making it the biggest Telugu film release till date.

The film will soon be dubbed in Hindi as well and will be released all over North India. Apparently, the Hindi dubbed version will have a bigger release in as many as 500 screens across the country soon. Insiders from Eros say that the film has come out extremely well and they are confident that it will turn out to be a blockbuster. They are also glad they have collaborated with Mahesh for the film, which was made on a whopping budget.

సంక్రాంతి సినిమాల్లో దీనికే ‘ఫస్ట్‌ ఇన్‌’ అడ్వాంటేజ్‌ దక్కబోతోంది. ‘రామయ్యా వస్తావయ్యా’ తర్వాత భారీ అంచనాలతో వస్తున్న సినిమా ఇదే. అంటే పెద్ద సినిమా వచ్చి మూడు నెలల గ్యాప్‌ వచ్చేసిందన్నమాట. చాలా గ్యాప్‌ తర్వాత వచ్చే పెద్ద సినిమాలకి ప్రేక్షకులు ఏ విధంగా ఎగబడతారనేది మనకి తెలియనిది కాదు. ‘దూకుడు’, ‘అత్తారింటికి దారేది’ చిత్రాలు వాటికి మంచి ఉదాహరణ. 

‘1’ కనుక ఏమాత్రం అంచనాలకి తగ్గట్టు ఉన్నా కానీ తదుపరి రిలీజ్‌ అయ్యే సినిమాలపై ప్రభావం తీవ్రంగా ఉంటుంది. డీసెంట్‌ టాక్‌ వచ్చినట్టయితే సంక్రాంతికి మహేష్‌ రికార్డులు తుడిచిపెట్టేసినా ఆశ్చర్యం లేదు. ఇక అంతా ఫస్ట్‌ షోకి వచ్చే పబ్లిక్‌ టాక్‌పై డిపెండ్‌ అయి ఉంది. 

The time has come for Mahesh Babu to arrive with his new movie ‘1-Nenokkadine’ on January 10th and discussions are happening on how much was spent to make this movie and how much business has happened. 

There is one talk from business circles that the film has made a business of 70 crores already.

On the other hand, the film was made at a budget of 60 crores. If this is true then the producers have got table profit of 10 crores straight. However, there is also another talk making rounds that the film is being released with a deficit of 10 crores.

Point is, if the film has been sold for 70 crores then trade analysts say it is sure to affect the distributors because recovering that kind of money is difficult. 

The speculations are many but once the film releases we will get the complete picture without any confusion.

Superstar Mahesh is the most popular actor of Telugu Cinema. He has a good fan base among Northies. Immediately after “Pokiri” many predictions were aired about Mahesh entry into Bollywood. But Mahesh rejected each and every bit of them. Puri Jagannath was very much interested to remake Businessman in Hindi with Mahesh. Later on Mahesh clearly stated that as of now he is not interested to make a Bollywood movie.

In a recent interview given for an English daily once again Superstar cleared the doubts about his entry in Hindi Cinema. As of now we cannot see Mahesh delivering his crunchy dialogues in Hindi. He said that no one from Bollywood till now has excited me with a worthy content , “I have received many offers but nothing has excited me. I am also quite busy here for the next two years. Perhaps, if a big director comes up with an interesting subject, I may think about it”, he added.

Finally the much awaited event related to the film ‘1-Nenokkadine’ has happened. We are talking about the audio release which took place at Shilpa Kala Vedika.

Fans of prince Mahesh Babu were on cloud nine watching their favorite star and even he didn’t let them down.

Sharing his thoughts, Mahesh showed a very emotional side of him when he stated how all of them are showing their affection for his films.

Telugu films with big stars have bigger market in Karnataka over Tamil movies but the only hero exception to this is Thalaiva Rajnikanth. However, the makers of the Ajith and Vijay starrers are not willing to budge on the rates. But it seems like they have no option as Bangalore multiplexes have already allotted their screens to ’1 Nenokkadine’. Sridhar Pillai, a popular trade tracker says Tamil producers would like to try wait and watch policy to see if they can get better prices.

1 Nenokkadine is creating huge buzz, thanks to Super star’s power and excellent publicity material by makers. The micro teaser released yesterday “Who Are You” on stage with fans cheering Mahesh raised the expectations on the film to an other level. Audio will be launched on 19th December by Balakrishna but there is no official confirmation on the chief guest yet.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam is all set his filmy entry as child artist in his father’s upcoming film, 1-Nenokkadine. He almost completed his part of shoot for the movie and is currently dubbing for his role in the film. The shooting of the film is currently in its last leg and will be wrapped up completely in the 10 days. On the other side, the makers are planning an innovative audio launch for the film on 19th December at Shilpa Kala Vedhika.

It is known that EROS International,a leading Bollywood production and distribution company is making its way to Tollywood having bought the rights of 1-Nenokkadine. The movie is all set for a grand release on January 10th, 2014 as Sankranthi gift.

As the shooting was progressing, there were many reports making rounds about the film ‘1 Nenokkadine’ and most importantly about the director Sukumar. 

Well, buzz was about how Sukumar is making the producers overspend and the way he was taking his time to shape the film up.

However, it looks like all those talks would get wiped off with this news. 

Sources say the Eros banner has come forward and taken the film’s distribution plus satellite and other rights for a whopping Rs 75 crores. 

This has proved that investing big budgets on Mahesh is always a safe bet.

So, if this deal has gone through then the producers don’t have to break their heads on break even, first day collections, third party sale prices etc. 

With Eros taking this project, ‘1 Nenokkadine’ gets a corporate touch in terms of promotion. All in all, this film will be a trendsetter for getting such a huge amount even before its release and will pave way for good business to other biggies.

And the audio function of '1 Nenokkadine' is going to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika on 19th Dec.
