It is being reported around that Ajith expressed his dissatisfaction after watching Arrambam and mentioned that he was put off with the scene where he holds a steaming iron box over a baby.

However, when we got in touch with director Vishuvardhan, he mentioned that they are all rumours.

"After watching the film, Ajith sir hugged me and told me that it is one of the best films in his career. He told that Arya and Taapsee's characters will be appreciated by the audience. Ajith sir also told me that his family watched the movie and loved it too."

When asked about the iron box scene, Vishnuvardhan mentioned that the scene was already mentioned in the script.

"If Ajith sir did not like it, he wouldn't have accepted it. Moreover, we have justified the reasons behind his villainous deeds in the second half."

In a recent interview, Rana talked about his latest film Arrambam and his role in it. Rana is playing the character of a cop who is also part of an anti terrorist squad. Rana explains that shooting for the film was no walk in the park but instead a very long and tedious process. The actor had to shoot straight for fifteen days and nights and the scenes included some large action sequences as well a couple of scenes and a song. Rana said that Vishnu Vardhan was very specific about what he wanted in his film and that was a great film.
Rana also had lots of nice things to say about his coworker Ajith who apparently is one of the nicest people he has ever met. Ajith’s presence on the sets perked up everyone and people were bowled over by his attitude.

Ajith's "Arrambam" (Beginning) will not be screened on 1 November in Karnataka, due to the Rajyothsava celebrations.

Kannada Rajyothsava Day is celebrated every year on 1 November to commemorate the formation of Karnataka state. Tamil films face release issues during the Rajyothsava week in the state and hence "Arrambam" distributors wanted to play it safe, by not screening the Ajith starrer on Friday.

"Arrambam" is hitting the screens on 31 October across the globe. However, the film's screening will be stopped on 1 November and resumed from 2 November in Karnataka. There are reports that the film will have a controlled release across the state. Accordingly, it will not be released in Mandya and Mysore districts where anti-Tamil sentiments are high during the Rajyothsava week. The film is expected to be released in these districts after two weeks.

"This year too, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have fought over the share of Cauvery river water sharing. We do not want pro-Kannada organizations to make a case out of 'Arrambam.' Therefore, we are not taking any chances," a leading theatre owner told the website.

"Arrambam" has been getting massive response for its advance booking in theatres worldwide. The film is expected to take a fantastic opening on the first day of its release, considering the fact that the Ajith starrer will have a solo big release. The action-packed entertainer will release in more than 500 screens worldwide, but the screen count will decline once "Krrish 3" (1 November), "All in All Azhaguraja" (2 November) and "Pandiya Nadu" (2 November) hit theatres.

"Arrambam", which has received a clean "U" certificate, is directed by Vishnu Vardhan. The director is confident that the film will set a new benchmark for Ajith, in terms of box office success, as well as mass appeal.

According to the director, the film's story is reportedly based on a real life incident that is well known across the country. Apart from Ajith, "Arrambam" has Arya, Nayanthara, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu and Mahesh Manjrekar in pivotal roles.

With Arrambam's release just 2 days away, folks around the state are trying their best to get their hands on tickets for the movie in the first weekend. Director Vishnuvardhan seems confident about the movie and is sure that Arrambam would be a new benchmark for Ajith, both from a box-office perspective and from masses perspective.

"In the movie, Ajith would be fighting for justice and he plays a socially conscious person. All the other stars in the movie would also be having their own defined parts in the movie. Ajith looks really handsome and has done his best to be agile. He has also shown a new side at being ferocious and romantic. This would be a new experience for the audience. His tears while expressing grief would also be stunning. Only a person who has really understood the story can exhibit such a performance.

I am forever surprised by Ajith. He is the most handsome, has achieved many laurels, has such fame and following among the audience. Yet, he works sincerely hard as if it is his first film. If everyone applauds him, then it is indeed for a solid reason."
