బాహుబలి 2 అడ్వాన్సు బుకింగ్స్ జోరు మీద ఉన్నాయి. మొదటి మూడు టికెట్ జాడ కనిపించడం లేదు. ఆల్మోస్ట్ ఆన్ లైన్ లో ఉంచిన టికెట్స్ అన్ని హాట్ కేక్స్ లాగా గంటల్లోనే అమ్ముడుపోయాయి. సినిమాని ఎలాగైనా మొదటి రోజే చూడలన్న ఆత్రం ప్రభాస్ ఫాన్స్ కంటే మిగిలిన వాళ్ళకే ఎక్కువగా ఉన్నట్టు కనపడుతోంది. ఈ సినిమా ఆడుతున్న సినిమా హాల్స్ దగ్గర తప్ప మిగిలిన చోటల్లా కర్ఫ్యూ వాతావరణమే కనిపించేలా ఉంది. బ్లాకు మార్కెట్ తలుపులు కూడా తెరుచుకున్నాయి. బెనిఫిట్ షో టికెట్ ధర ఆకాశాన్ని అంటుతోంది. అయినా డోంట్ కేర్ అంటున్నారు ఆడియన్స్.

తెలంగాణా లో మాత్రం బెనిఫిట్ షో కు బేషరతుగా అనుమతి నిరాకరించారు. ఉదయం 7 తర్వాత షో వేసుకోవడానికి అనుమతి నివ్వడంతో ఇక విధి లేని పరిస్థితుల్లో మిడ్ నైట్ షో క్యాన్సిల్ చేసుకున్నాయి థియేటర్ యాజమాన్యాలు. ఇది ప్రభాస్ ఫాన్స్ కి నిరాశ కలిగించే వార్త అయినప్పటికీ టాక్ తెల్లవారకుండానే స్ప్రెడ్ కాకుండా చాలా హెల్ప్ అవుతుంది. పైగా టికెట్ రేట్ అధిక ధరకు కౌంటర్ లో అమ్మడానికి కూడా నిరాకరించింది తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వం.

కాని ఆంధ్రలో మాత్రం సీన్ రివర్స్ లో ఉంది. అర్ధ రాత్రి నుంచే షో లు వేసి జాతర చేయడానికి ఇక్కడ ఎలాంటి అడ్డంకులు ఉండబోవట్లేదు. ఏకంగా రోజుకు ఆరు షోలు వేసుకోవడానికి అనుమతి ఇవ్వడమే కాక సింగల్ స్క్రీన్స్ లో సైతం టికెట్ ధర 200 దాక అమ్ముకోవడానికి పర్మిషన్ ఇవ్వడంతో దందా భారీ ఎత్తున జరుగుతోంది. బ్లాక్ మార్కెట్ గురించి చెప్పాల్సిన పని లేదు. ఆరు షోల వరకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వడం వరకు బాగానే ఉంది కాని టికెట్ ధర మూడింతలు పెంచుకోవడానికి అవకాశం ఇవ్వడం పట్ల మాత్రం నిరసన వ్యక్తం అవుతోంది. బాహుబలి 2 తీసింది హైదరాబాద్ లో, అందులో నటించిన నటీనటులు, పని చేసిన టెక్నీషియన్స్ ఉండేది హైదరాబాద్ లో. కాని ప్రత్యేక వెసులుబాటు ఇస్తోంది మాత్రం ఆంధ్ర ప్రభుత్వం.

కాటమ రాయుడు విషయంలో పట్టుబట్టి మరీ బెనిఫిట్ షో వేయకుండా ఆంక్షలు విధించిన యంత్రాంగం ఇప్పుడు బాహుబలి 2 విషయంలో ఇంత ఉదారంగా ఉంది ప్రేక్షకుల జేబులు కత్తెర వేయడానికి ముఖ్య కారణం ఎపి ప్రభుత్వానికి సలహాదారుగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్న సినిమా సమర్పకుడు రాఘవేంద్ర రావు, పంపిణి హక్కులు పొందిన సాయి కొర్రపాటి తదితరులు తమకు ఉన్న పలుకుబడి ఉపయోగించడంవల్లే అని ఫిలిం నగర్ టాక్. మరి ఈ పప్పులు కెసిఆర్ దగ్గర మాత్రం ఉడకలేదు. ఇప్పుడు హైదరాబాద్ సింగల్ స్క్రీన్ లో బాహుబలి మొదటి రోజు టికెట్ ధర 70 నుంచి 100 లోపు ఉండగా అదే గుంటూరు లోని సింగల్ స్క్రీన్ లో మాత్రం 150 మొదలు కొని 200 దాకా ఉంది. అందుకే అన్నది ఆంద్ర ప్రేక్షకులు చేసిన పాపం ఏమిటి అని. కాదంటారా.

తెలంగాణలో కొత్త ట్రాఫిక్ రూల్స్ ను అమలు చేయబోతున్నారు. ట్రాఫిక్ నేరాలకు పాల్పడేవారికి పాయింట్లు కేటాయిస్తారు. దానికి అనుగుణంగా పన్నెండు పాయింట్లు వచ్చేంతవరకు లైసెన్సు రద్దు చేయరు.పన్నెండు పాయింట్లు చేరగానే లైసెన్స్ రద్దు చేస్తారు.

పెనాల్టీలతోపాటు ఆ నేరాన్ని బట్టి పాయింట్లు కేటాయిస్తారు. వాటి సంఖ్య 12కు చేరితే లైసెన్సు రద్దవుతుంది. అదే లెర్నింగ్‌ లెసెన్సు ఉన్నవారికి ఆ పాయింట్ల సంఖ్యను ఐదుకు పరిమితం చేశారు. అంతకుమించితే వారి తాత్కాలిక లైసెన్సు కూడా రద్దు చేస్తారు.కేవలం జరిమానాలతో ట్రాపిక్ కేసుల నుంచి బయటపడడానికి ఇది అవకాశం ఇవ్వదు.అమెరికా, బ్రిటన్ లలో ఈ తరహా విధానం అమలులో ఉంది.సిసి కెమేరాల ఆధారంగా నేర నిర్దారణ చేస్తారు.ఇరవై నాలుగు నెలల సమయాన్ని గడువుగా చేసుకుని ఈ పాయింట్ల సంఖ్యను బేరీజు వేస్తారు. 24 నెలల కాలంలో పాయింట్ల సంఖ్య 12కు చేరితే ఏడాది పాటు లైసెన్సు రద్దు చేస్తారు. మళ్లీ కొత్త ఖాతా మొదలవుతుంది. మళ్లీ 24 నెలల్లో 12 పాయింట్లు వస్తే రెండేళ్లపాటు తదుపరి పునరావృతమైతే మూడేళ్లపాటు లైసెన్సును రద్దు చేస్తారు.

Hyderabad/ New Delhi: The Congress is deploying all types of tactics to bring TRS chief KCR to his knees. By now, it is known that TRS is not ready to merge itself with Congress.

Speaking to media persons in Delhi, Congress General Secretary in-charge of state affairs Digvijay Singh said he still believes that KCR will keep his word on merger with Congress.

And Union minister Jairam Ramesh told TJAC leaders in Hyderbad, that if TRS does not merge with Congress, it will go the Aam Admi party way.

Only this morning, Mancherial MLA Gaddam Aravind Reddy joined Congress in New Delhi and in the evening, Medak MP Vijaya Shanti who has won on a TRS ticket, has joined Congress. She met Digvijay and he later took her to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi. It is well known that these two leaders have parted ways with TRS and were only waiting to join Congress.

After meeting Sonia Gandhi, Vijaya Shanti was ecstatic that she has joined Congress in the presence of Sonia Gandhi. She threw indirect barbs at “those leaders who cannot keep their word. This is not correct. I have joined Congress because it gave us Telangana”.

Without referring to KCR, she said: “A leader is one who walks the talk and keeps his commitment.”

Even as TRS leadership is worried about these Delhi developments, Jairam Ramesh met Telangana Political JAC leaders. Observers feel that Ramesh has tried to draw a wedge between TRS and TJAC, as KCR is not yielding to Congress’s demand.

Jairam faulted TRS chief KCR and told the TJAC leaders that the manner in which KCR is dealing with Congress is unfair. Jairam told them there is lot of anger against KCR in Seemandhra region with his “Jago- Bhago” comments.

Jairam impressed upon the TJAC leaders to help out Congress as it is that party which has given Telangana. He in fact offered party tickets to those TJAC leaders who are interested in joining politics.

Jairam even warned TJAC members that if KCR is given power, he will bring back “Dorala Rajyam”. He tried to convince them development of smaller states is possible with national parties only. Jairam said the argument of TRS on distribution of employees is impractical.

Jairam, who held two press meets in a matter of 24 hours to say that the Centre will build Polavaram project, he changed tack before TJAC leaders. He told them Polavaram has several structural and design problems and it is difficult to complete the project.

Perhaps anticipating such developments, KCR has held a marathon meeting with party leaders at his farm house. While some leaders reportedly favoured a poll tie-up, others said neither a tie-up nor merger is required.

Hyderabad: After Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi, HRD Minister MM Pallam Raju on Friday resigned from the union cabinet in protest against the UPA government’s move to clear the formation of Telangana.

“Deeply offended and aggrieved that the cabinet did not take any note of our anguish. Cabinet has acted in great haste without understanding the issues or the statements of the people. It is harmful to the state,” he said.

“It is a very sad day for Andhra Pradesh,” he added.

The emotive state bifurcation issue has once again flared up in Andhra Pradesh with a 72-hour band throwing life out of gear in the entire Seemandhara region.

Though the issue has been simmering ever since the Congress Working Committee (CWC) gave its nod for the creation of Telangana as the nation’s 29th state, the pro-united Andhra leaders and people in Seemandhara and Rayalaseema had remained hopeful that the UP government may go for a last minute rethink on its stand.

However, with the Union Cabinet, yesterday, setting up a Group of Ministers (GoM) under Finance Minister P Chidambaram to work out the modalities for creation of the new state, the anger in Seemandhara has grown manifolds.

Textiles Minister KS Rao had offered to quit as well, reports said. Also, Congress' V Aruna Kumar, MP from Rajahmundry, tendered his resignation both from the party and Parliament in protest over the decision.

Meanwhile, Congress MP from Seemandhra L Rajagopal today said he will move the Supreme Court challenging the move.

The move violates the federal principles and structure of the Constitution, he said.

Contending that majority of the people of Andhra Pradesh are against the bifurcation, he said when a resolution in this regard is moved in the State Assembly, "we will ensure that it is defeated".

The 72-hour bandh is expected to be near total in the entire Seemandhara region and would be felt in cities like Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam. In Tirupati in Rayalaseema the situation is no better with devotees to Tirumala abode of Lord Venkateshwara finding it extremely difficult to reach the hill top shrine in absence of public transport.

The Seemandhara Lawyer Joint Action Committee (JAC) has also called a 48-hour-bandh in the 13 districts of Seemandhara and the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (APNGOs) Association has called for 48-hour blockade of national highways.
