Rajiv Gandhi look alike in ‘Madras Cafe’ grabs attention

The film Madras Cafe is a political spy thriller where John Abraham plays the role of an Intelligence Officer of the special forces. The ear of the film is set in the early 1990s, around the time of Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination. It was hinted that the LTTE had a hand in the assassination of the Indian Prime Minister on May 21, 1991, at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu and the film is based against this backdrop.

However, the talking point is the likeness of the actor who plays Rajiv Gandhi in the film. He has drawn the attention of many. Makers of the film John Abraham, Shoojit Sarcar and their team have been done a commendable for having done such a good job on picking the actor.
