‘Thata teesta’ – was Pawan Kalyan’s threat to those involved in the piracy of his film Attarintiki Daredi.
All those who heard his speech during the ‘Thank You’ meet of the film were expecting some action in the following days.
There was a lot of discussion around the names that could have been involved in leaking the film even before its release.
His fans and public waited for Pawan to name someone who could be held responsible for the act. Surprisingly, nothing happened and Pawan Kalyan too has gone silent.
Now, there are more questions than ever in the industry.
His fans are wondering what will be Pawan’s next move. They are concerned as to why he is being silent.
But Pawan’s intention was different. He wanted to let his fans and media know that some of the big names in the industry were involved in the piracy of Attarintiki Daredi and he said that publicly.
However, he did get agitated and made some strong statements. Looking back, Pawan is not the kind who is vindictive. Also, the act did not affect the film’s success. In fact, the producer BVSN Prasad made his money.
Of course, the situation would have been different had the film flopped. Pawan too would have handled it differently. Since the anti-piracy wave helped the movie rake in lots of moolah, Pawan calmed down.
So, will Pawan let off the mischief players? As per industry sources, Pawan is said to be hunting for proofs regarding the issue.
Unless the law fails to penalize the criminals, Pawan will surely not take matters into his hands as it would adversely affect his image.
One thing is decided though. Pawan will surely name the culprits and shame them. But one has to wait for the right time and right platform!
