తెలుగు సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీలో ఎన్నో సమస్యలు వున్నాయి, కానీ ఎవరు వాటిపైన స్పందించరు. కానీ మెగా ఫ్యామిలీ కి ఏదైనా కష్టం వచ్చిందంటే చాలు అందరు చిన్న చితక ఆర్టిస్టులు అందరు బైటకి వచ్చి సపోర్ట్ చేస్తారు. ఇంతకూ ముందే చూసాం 'మా' కూడా అందరి తరుపున ఉండాల్సింది పోయి పెద్ద కుటుంబాలకి ఏదైనా కష్టం వచ్చినపుడే మాట్లాడుతుంది. అలాగే మెగా ఫ్యాన్స్ అని, పవర్ ప్యాన్స్ అని, బన్నీ ఫ్యాన్స్ అని ఫ్యాన్స్ మాత్రమే గొడవ పడుతున్నారు వాళ్ల ఫ్యామిలీలో ఎవరికైన కష్టం వచ్చినపుడు వాళ్ళు అందరు ఒకటైతున్నారు ఫ్యాన్స్ మాత్రం ఇంకా గొడవలు పడుతున్నారు చివరికి పిచోళ్లు అవుతున్నది ఫ్యాన్స్ మాత్రమే.

చిన్న చితక ఆర్టిస్ట్ ల గురించి పోరాడుతున్న శ్రీ రెడ్డి మాత్రం ఆటలో అరటిపండు ఐపోఇంది. ఆర్టిస్టులు అందరు కలిసి కట్టుగా లేనపుడు ఇండస్ట్రీ ని వాళ్ల చేతుల్లో పెట్టుకున్న ఆ నలుగురిని ఎవరు ఏమి చేయలేరు.

పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ సినిమా వస్తుంటే పాత సినిమాలన్నింటినీ తీసేసి.. అతడి సినిమాను రీప్లేస్ చేసేయడం చూస్తుంటాం. ‘కాటమరాయుడు’ విషయంలోనూ అలాగే జరిగింది. అప్పటిదాకా థియేటర్లలో ఉన్న సినిమాలన్నీ ఒక్క దెబ్బకు లేచిపోయాయి. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లోని థియేటర్లలో 90 శాతానికి పైగా ‘కాటమరాయుడు’తో నిండిపోయాయి పోయిన శుక్రవారం. కానీ ‘కాటమరాయుడు’ది ఆరంభ శూరత్వమే అయింది. రెండో రోజుకే ఇందులో కొన్ని థియేటర్లు వేరే సినిమాలతో రీప్లేస్ అవగా.. సోమవారం కలెక్షన్లు ఒక్కసారిగా పడిపోవడంతో పరిస్థితి మరింత ఇబ్బందికరంగా తయారైంది. ఇప్పుడు ‘కాటమరాయుడు’ ఆడుతున్న రెగ్యులర్ థియేటర్లు కూడా వేరే సినిమాల వైపు చూస్తున్నాయి.

The much-hyped protest musical album released by power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan at Vijayawada on Tuesday was terribly disappointing.

The musical album Desh Bachao was claimed to be a voice against opportunistic, divisive and criminal politics, but it only had the shouting of Pawan couple with jarring mixing of music by DJ Prithvi.

In fact, it was an album of six songs, originally written and composed by popular music director Ramana Gogula, for the films of Pawan Kalyan, including Johnny and Tammudu. Had they retained the original musical flavour, it would have been more pleasing, but DJ Prithvi messed it up and converted them into no better than pub music.

And the worst part is the repeated mentioning of the word Laddu.. Laddu.., obviously referring to Pawan’s comment during his Tirupati meeting comparing special package given to Andhra Pradesh with stale laddus. The words were too harsh to the ears.

However, Pawan’s tweets are more effective than his album. He made a “gentle reminder” to the law makers, stating that the elected representatives were standing on the sacrifices of countless selfless individuals who had given up everything for future generations.

Pawan Kalyan is an apt definition for his title the Power Star. This is due to the power he generates among the youth and masses and also at the box office.

At the same time, there is also another side in Pawan that is mystifying and somewhat surprising. This is more to do with his personal life.

Anyways, a new topic making rounds is about Pawan’s appearance. Apparently, once he comes in clean shave and suit, sometimes he comes in casual tees and slippers and another day he comes with ruffled beard and Kurta-Pyjama. These variations might look appealing but there is a scientific angle to it.

According to a city based psychologist, "It shows someone who has fluctuating moods and that individual’s decisions will generally be inconsistent. They live with confused decisions, multiple relations and volatile in nature as well".

With Yevadu crossing the 40 Cr mark recently, Ram Charan now has four films in the north of 40 Cr. It might have not gained that importance had it not been for the fact that there are only 12 films so far which has crossed this mark and if one increases the club to 45 Cr and higher, the total number reduces to just 10 film with Charan films still being part of it. Now reevaluate the whole thing by keeping in mind that Charan has done just 7 films so far and that includes a Industry Hit as well, isn’t it a track record that is enviable and shouldn’t he be the contender for number 1 slot, if not number 1 already, looking at the position his competitors are in?

However if one were to go by what the media says or makes us to believe, it would be like the competition is between Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan with Charan still on the fence struggling to find a place in the top 4. The reality is that both Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan have two films each in this club with Mahesh Babu having one additional multistarrer in the club. Apart from the fact that all three have a universally accepted Industry Hit to their names their box office receipts have nothing in common with Charan having a clear edge in India. Yet the media chooses to ignore him.

Now let’s rewind the clock and get back to the 80’s. In this decade we saw two of the most anticipated debuts, one was Nandamuri Balakrishna where as the other was Akkineni Nagarjuna. These two are the heirs of the two of the most iconic figures of Telugu cinema and their debuts were keenly awaited. Both started off on a great note and showed great collections at the box office that were bigger than, those of then rising star Chiranjeevi. However none of these two despite such good box office records were crowned the box office kings, neither were put above Chiranjeevi. Reason was simple, they hadn’t created a name of their own, and a following that they can say is their own. It took a Shiva for Nagarjuna to get that and a Mangamma Gari Manuvadu and Muddula Mavayya to get that for Balakrishna.

This is where Ram Charan is lagging despite having a film like Magadheera. A film that creates a following of his own, a film that creates hysteria with Charan at the center of it, a film that is completely owned by Ram Charan, is what is missing currently to crown him as king of box office. His hits have to mean something to him and not be seen as something that is coming to him because of his father’s legacy. May be this is the reason for the media to not take his side yet. The question we would like to ask is, is this reason justified when a star is showing such great consistency at the box office? Should we wait for that film to happen in this age where a true classic movie has become a rare species and very hard to get? What do you think?

In the film industry, celebrities ought to be double careful because their statements are treated very sensitively. 

But all this doesn’t seem to bother Samantha who has been throwing her words around.

Recently, she gave a ‘regressive’ tweet on ‘1-Nenokkadine’ poster and that created enough trouble. 

After getting some bashing from Mahesh fans, many expected her to keep silent. But now she has gone ahead and fingered Pawan Kalyan directly. Her latest tweet on multiple marriages indicated that.

While many are getting irked on why Samantha is having such a loose tongue, there are many more wondering as to who is giving her advice to put such tweets. 

All are getting doubt on Sam’s alleged beau Siddharth. They feel she is doing it on his influence. 

As such, Sidz is famous for his ‘Noti Doola’. Let us hope Samantha mends her ways soon. 

The clock is ticking for yet another hero from mega compound to enter Tollywood. He is Sai Dharam Tej and the reason why a lot of buzz is happening is due to the talk that he is being backed strongly by Pawan Kalyan.

The film is ‘Rey’ and here is another interesting grapevine making rounds.

The audio release is being scheduled to take place on January 5th or 6th and Pawan is expected to be the chief guest.

The interesting part is, some are saying he might come along with his newlywed wife in a revolutionary way. And who knows? He might answer all the questions making rounds and silence his critics.

Some are strongly believing that just like how N T Rama Rao introduced Lakshmi Parvathi on a public forum, something like that might happen on ‘Rey’ audio release.

Let’s wait and watch!

When Pawan Kalyan scored a mindblowing blockbuster with ‘Gabbar Singh’ the concept of Pawanism became a mania and many hardcore PK fans began marketing it big time.

Ideally, Pawanism is meant to be all about living a conscientious life and setting an example to the society.

But right now, some are asking if that Pawanism has gone to the dogs. They say Pawan must be expressive about his decisions in personal life. It should justify his image in the best way possible. He should explain to fans why he divorced Renu Desai and why he married the Australian model.
The fact remains that barring few things, there is nothing personal for a celebrity. Why did Hrithik Roshan come out and give an official announcement about his divorce with Sussanne. If lakhs of people are concerned about a celebrity at an emotional level then there is answerability. Pawan should look at Hrithik and learn.
For that matter, even Mahesh also gave his stand clearly regarding the ‘Regressive’ issue from Samantha. Sometimes few truths have to be given out in diplomatic and parliamentary way.

During the film’s audio launch, he saluted his fans and said, “You have been supporting me everytime I attempted to do something different. I don’t know how to thank you, but fold my hands with gratitude.”

Now, he has stunned his fans once again with his simplicity. Talking about his success streak, in a recent interview to a leading newspaper, he said, “Who cares and remembers if my last film was a success? I need to work harder.” As soon as this interview was published, fans of Mahesh Babu couldn’t stop raving about his simplicity and humbleness. That’s not all. The actor even apologized for the controversy which a poster from the film created and said, “We are sorry if we upset people’s feelings. Maybe we made a mistake, but if you see the film you’ll concur that there is nothing distasteful.”

Currently, Mahesh Babu is busy shooting for his next film Aagadu in Hyderabad. Directed by Sukumar, ’1′ is going to release on January 10. Kriti Sanon is the lead actress and 14 Reels Entertainment banner had produced the film.

Like wise, our top heroes Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Junior NTR, Balakrishna etc have inherited their own phenomena to woo the Fans. For example, at any audio release function of their respective films, Balakishna andJunior NTR would love to spell the dialogues from that film. Even Pawan Kalyan is not above this hype creating process and ‘Simham…Siddhpappa’ dialogue in ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ was spelt by him on the stage of audio launch.

Expecting the same from mahesh babu, few of the Fans at yesterday’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’ audio launch shouted loudly for their hero to render at least one dialogue in public. ‘Did I ever say any dialogues in the past? Please, do not pull me into these new things,’ Mahesh simply rejected the request from Fans. Anyways, still Mahesh is a new variety in the collection of our star heroes and we must appreciate it.
