Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Naayak completed its 50 days run on 27th February, 2013 in 51direct centers in AP.  Having been released on 9th January, the movie proved to be the first blockbuster of this year. Being a hero of the movie, Ram Charan must be credited as the key person for the success of the movie. His dances, fights and grace in performance were applauded well by the audiences.

Apart from Ram Charan, many artists and technicians contributed well for the success of the film. Without Vinayak, there is no Naayak. As we know, Vinayak is considered to be a minimum guaranty director for Telugu films. He has a great success rate as a director. It's not the story, but the screen play that made miracles at the box office. Kajal turned out to be the luckiest heroine for Ram Charan, as she was the part of 'Magadheera' and Naayak. Amala appeared so sexy in saris. Thaman has proved his mettle rendering perfect mass numbers.Other star cast such as Brahmanandam, Posani etc. and technicians such as cinematographer, dance choreographers, action choreographers etc. got major share of the success of the film. Ultimately, DVV Danayya, the producer of this film is the happiest man, as he earned good profits through this movie.

Mega Power Star RamCharan’s Naayak run in overseas has come to an end. At the end of 4 weeks it has collected app. 494K USD ( 2.64Cr INR ). It has performed better compared to his last release Racha in overseas even when one looks at the rentrak numbers.

Considering that it had a mighty opposition in the form of SVSC one has to say it has performed very well.

Sankranti release Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu crossed Ram Charan’s Naayak in all aspects, say sources from the industry. Figures indicate that SVSC defeated Naayak in collections.

The satellite rights of both these movies were sold at whopping rates owing to their success. The satellite rights of Naayak were sold for Rs.6.5 Cr, taking the Tollywood by surprise and standing the first movie to fetch such whopping amount.

However, beating Naayak, the satellite rights of SVSC have been bought by a South Indian channel for Rs.8.5 Cr reportedly. This is the first time ever that two movies have been bought for such huge amounts in the history of South Indian cinema.
