There is talk that Attarintiki Daaredi’ release has been postponed. It is a natural development given the situation in the state.
As per tradition, a son-in-law is welcome in his in-laws’ house during festivals such as Sankranti or Dassera. If he chooses to go there when the couple has a fight and is on the brink of divorce, he is bound to get ignored. He will also miss out on all the goodies.
The plight of Attarintiki Daaredi is similar to one such son-in-law. With the state on the verge of bifurcation, there is bound to be friction between the fans of Pawan Kalyan from both the regions and this could affect the fate of the movie.
So, it would be a wise move on the part of the makers to release the film at an appropriate time. Given the fan following that Pawan Kalyan has, the film will make money whenever it is released. Trivikram too has his set of followers. It is just about choosing the right time for the release.
