Andhra-Telangana Clash @ Nagarjuna's 'Manam'

The ongoing Telangana issue has taken its toll heavily on the growth of Andhra Pradesh and the feelings of Telugu people. In this bargain, the Tollywood industry also has seen extreme damages. Recently it is heard that even Nagarjuna had to face some heat due to this issue but he handled it very well.
According to sources, Nag is currently busy with the shooting of his film ‘Manam’ being shot in a prestigious way. For the film, there was a requirement of few actors and it is heard that they did a shortlisting of candidates from the Annapurna International School of Film and media. The final list comprised of members from both Telangana and Andhra region.
However, it is heard that one of the students who didn’t get shortlisted raked up an issue stating that he was not selected because he is from Telangana and is also a strong Telangana state seeker. Not stopping at that, he reportedly brought in few members who are like the Telangana activists. All this drama reportedly went to the notice of Nag and he entered the scene to sort it.
Sources say Nag made it very clear that the entire selection happened based on merit and requirement and it had nothing to do with the region. He reportedly enlightened them by reminding about taking one Telangana person also for the film. In the end, Nag reportedly made it clear that the group can do whatever they want but from the school’s end, everything was done professionally and not due to any silly regional hatred. Well done Nag!
