It is known news that the entire nation is gripped with the hottest case of Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal and him raping one of his subordinates in a lift at a star hotel.
This does come as a surprise because Tejpal is a powerful media person and generally such issues are settled silently.
However, another speculation making rounds is Twitter being responsible for the whole scandal to come out.
Ideally, the conventional print or electronic media would not take so much initiative to project the incident but sources say it was Twitter which took a lot of drive and constant follow up to ensure the whole matter comes into the public.
There have been instances in the past when editors and top media honchos have indulged in such acts but they were never nailed because of the confidence that it would not be reported.
However, it looks like the Twitter impact has put Tejpal’s seat on fire.
Let us see if justice gets delivered or will it turn out to be just another diffused case of compromise.
