Story

Automobile engineer Vasu (Sudheer Varma) takes his friend's offer to repair a car owned by Mahadeva Raju (Nagineedu) in a village. There he fall in love with Suchi (Chandini Chowdhary), an arrogant, pampered daughter of Mahadeva Raju.

Just as everything goes on smoothly, Chandini's brother in law Gopi (Sudhakar Komakula) enters the scene and Mahadeva Raju who for long dreamed of getting his daughter married to Gopi fixes his engagement. What happens next should be watched on screen.

Performance

Nagineedu came with matured role and performed in a dignified manner. Chandini Chowdhary looked pretty and she played her part as an arrogant girl in a perfect manner. Sudhakar Komakula's role is limited and he is ok in the role.

Sudheer Varma did his role quite well. Jhansi's comedy tested the patience of all. Shakalaka Shankar's comedy at times evoked few laughs though it is routine. Others performed according to their roles.

Technical

Keeravani's music is old fashioned. songs are not that attractive. Keeravani tried to impress viewers with old beats in village atmosphere. After a long time one get to hear the soothing voice of Balasubrahmaniam.

Background score is good. Cinematography is beautiful highlighting the village atmosphere. Editing could have been far better.

Vara Mullapudi could have worked on the story before taking such huge risk. Many wonder how Raghavendra Rao presented the film.

Analysis

Vara Mullapudi, son of Mullapudi Venkataramana and son in law of Bapu, he came with romantic entertainer after tasting failures with Naa Alludu and Visakha Express. The title is attractive but there ends the compliments. Right from the start to finish, film fails to generate interest among movie lovers. One gets a feeling that serials are better than this film. The film is old fashioned of 80s and even then result wouldn't have been different.

Many wonder why the film is titled Kundanapu Bomma as heroine always use choicest abuses. Seems this is modern Kundanapu Bomma raised in a village. Film story is routine to the core and even a child can predict the outcome. Vara failed in story, direction and screenplay. Dialogues are below average and with weak story, screenplay and direction, Vara couldn't get much output from the star cast.

Final Talk

Statutory warning: Kundanapu Bomma kills!
