Story:
Retired teacher Ramamurthy (Nagineedu) is known to be a strict man. He runs his house believing that discipline makes a man perfect. In order to do so he implement some rules and if any one commits 100 mistakes the person will be banished from the house. Family is in happy mood with Rammurhty's first son Brahmaji (Brahmaji) marrige settled. However his second son Sandeep (Sandeep Kishan) commits 99 mistakes and is on the verge of getting expelled from the house. The entire family heads for marriage in Tirupathi boarding Venkatadri Express at Kacheguda station.
However they forget 'mangala sutram' and it is now upto Sundeep to get it from the house and board the train before his strict father punishes everyone. He tries boarding the train along with the 'mangala sutram' but misses the train and in the process makes Prarthana (Rakul Preet Singh) too miss the train along with him. Prarthana is on her way to offer her first salary to Lord Balaji.
With Sandeep spening even Prarthana's 30k and still stranded in the middle with out boarding the train, answers to the following questions like will Sandeep escape his dad's punishment boarding the train, repay Prarthana's money, will his brother's marriage takeplace smoothly should be found on silver screen.
Performance
Sandeep Kishan came with good performance showing his expressions in different situations. His comedy timing is good. Rakul Preet Singh got good role and she looked hot in a songs. She performed well competing with Sandeep.
Highlight of the film is Tagubotu Ramesh's performance. He outshone all as a drunkard in this film. Brahmaji as a person who is thrilled atleast getting married at late age, Nagineedu as strict father, MS.Narayana and others complimented the lead actors quite well.
Technical
Ramana Gogula's background score is good. Music is fine. The film has only 3 songs. Gautam Raju's editing could have been little better.
Cinematography is good. Production values are good. Had director taken little care in climax, he could have hit the jackpot.

Analysis
Director Merlapaka Gandhi chose a simple point and kept the audience interested for most of the film on whether gets caught committing his 100th mistake. He created situation comedy scenes quite well and Tagubotu Ramesh along with other actors didnot fail the director.
However the story dragged a bit in before the interval and even the climax is not worked out perfectly. Lack of commercial elements like item songs and mass elements is the drawback in the film.
Final Talk
Venkatadri Express entertains all.
