Galla Jayadev, son of Minister of mines, Galla Arunakumari has made his intentions clear about contesting from Guntur constituency for Parliament in the upcoming elections. He plans to join the Telugu Desam Party to contest the elections. When asked about the different party chosen, the Managing Director of Amara Raja Batteries said that this is nothing new there are many precedence’s in the past where different members of a family have joined different parties.
Galla Jayadev also in this announcement mentioned that his relative and film star Mahesh Babu would campaign for him in the upcoming elections. However he clarified that the campaigning would be keeping the individual, here a relative, in mind and not because of political affiliation towards a party or showing support to a party. Mahesh Babu has been one actor who has stayed away from politics so far, let’s see what the star campaigner brings to the table for Galla Jayadev.
