CM Kiran Kumar Reddy Called to Delhi: What's up?

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday got a call from the Congress high command asking him to come to New Delhi in a day or two.

According to party sources, Kiran is expected to leave for New Delhi on Thursday afternoon, a couple of hours after he holds negotiations with the APNGOs’ Association leaders.

The call led to speculations that the high command might ask him to see that the draft Bill on Telangana is passed in the state assembly at any cost and there should not be any defiance of the party legislators from Seemandhra.

And in case the Chief Minister himself puts up a defiant posture, the Centre might consider sacking him and impose President’s Rule in the state, say sources.
